Conservation is the theme for this years contest, a perfect fit for Guy Harvey, who is known for his conservation efforts through the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation. The 2nd Annual Bealls Design-a-Tee Contest invites high school students to create an original conservation themed tee design. This is an excellent opportunity for students to display their creative talents and promote conservation in Florida and around the world. The grand prize includes a $1,000 cash reward to the winning designer, $1,000 cash reward to the winners school, and world renowned artist and conservation activist, Guy Harvey, will make a special appearance at the winners school. The winning tee design will be sold in Bealls Department Stores and on BeallsFlorida.com in March of 2009. "Bealls has a rich history in supporting education. The 2008 contest began Monday, September 1st. The Bealls Design-a-Tee Contest is open to legal Florida residents who are enrolled in a Florida high school during the time of entry in the contest.
