Rated 4 out of 5Â by Karen618 This is not a $300 bedspread The fabric is not a printed polyester which is, I think, what the complaining reviewers were expecting. It is a rayon jacquard with a very loose weave. That makes it easily snagged and easily frayed. The sewing is of typical quality but with a difficult to sew fabric. The size is exactly what the description says it is. It is not a quilt, it is a comforter, which means that it will cover from about your neck to about 8" from the end of the mattress. Check the measurements of your mattress before purchasing. Then decide.I found the comforter's colors to be stunning in a 50s elegant beach style. My room is 50s styled and it suits it perfectly. The fabric is beautiful with a typical rayon gentle sheen. The jacquard pattern breaks up the sheen so that it doesn't appear to be polyester. Rayon was devised to imitate silk, and this does so.It is not a $300 bedspread sold for $70. It is a $130 comforter set sold for $70. It is a great value. It is wonderful if you want that pattern and style and DO NOT HAVE dogs sleeping on the bed, cats kneading it, or children playing on it. Rayon is not that tough, and the doesn't hold the seams well. So it will not stand up to harsh treatment, and the washing machine will destroy it.I used the bed ruffle to make valances as there are no accompanying window treatments, and I did not want so much print fabric decorating the bed. I love the results, and I love this comforter. I wish they did offer it in a bedspread, but they do not.You will be satisfied if you read the description and understand what it is and what it is not. Rated 2 out of 5Â by shoppinfool Am disappointed, I expect better quality from Bealls I had to exchange the original quilt because it was 10" too short and 6" too narrow. No problem exchanging it, very kind and helpful sales associate, but it still falls short of my expectations. Loose threads, small throw pillows compared to previous quilts I've owned. I'm keeping it because I've already made one return. February 11, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5Â by Kaylea20 I liked a lot about this product I had bought this on line and when received was happy with what I had gotten. I purposely bought this set because it was on sale and it went with my new off white Florida bedroom set and light green walls. Sure it was busy, and loud with color!!! That is why I bought it. It works in Florida. Most all Queen Size comforter never seem big enough and if they advertise Full/Queen forget about it but Even though it should have been bigger it worked because you can only see one side anyway. Yes it slide because of the lining. A lot of time people put the top comforter on for show and fold it back and don't actually sleep with it on the bed at night. I am not that disappointed ...... Rated 1 out of 5Â by Tamm super cheap I live in Michigan and bought this for my daughters room. The pattern is pretty but the whole thing was cheap, cheap, and cheap! I was not happy and it wasn't worth for me to ship it back and lose all that money. When I say it is cheap, everything about this set is low quality. It looks like I bought it at a garage sale after someone had used it for years. The fabric pulls easy, the texture is bad to the touch and it never holds it's shape. You know how you pull something out of the dryer and it's lost it's shape, this is how this set is from the minute you take it out. It never looks nice no matter what you do.........DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY........I had to buy a new set. I should mention, I am not happy that after two years they are still selling this. Yes, I bought mine two years ago already. January 31, 2014
