HOW TO MEASURE

Stand up straight with feet flat on the floor, arms relaxed at sides. For accuracy, measure over undergarments & keep the tape measure parallel to the floor.

1. Chest/Bust

Measure around the fullest part of the chest/bust, while keeping the tape under the arms and around the shoulder blades.

2. Waist

Bend to one side to find the crease of your natural waistline and measure at that point, keeping your measuring tape comfortably loose. If you are between sizes, order a size up.

3. Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips, 7-9 inches below your natural waistline.

4. Inseam

Measure similar pants that fit well. Lay them flay with the front and back creased smooth. Measure from the top of the inside seam to the bottom of the hem.

5. Length

Dresses are measured from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom of the hemline.

I usually can NEVER find jeans that are long enough for me, especially Gloria Vanderbuilt jeans. I am very satisfied to find a way to get them in my length. I always know what size to buy - 6 - and know that the short jeans are perfect and that I will have to have the regular jeans hemmed 2 inches. These jeans are so predictable - no returns needed!!! Don't know how I managed to get this one pair of jeans in just what size and fit I needed last year when I ordered them, but they fit wonderfully. I do believe they are a petite short, but I love these jeans, and I wear them all the time. Am afraid they are going to wear out before long, and I just can't seem to find any others from this store that are these exact kind of Gloria Vanderbilt Petite short size 14 except now I need them in a 12 nearly a 10 ! I love the product and these are the only kind of jeans I wear. I like Bealls Florida too, every transaction has gone smooth, and things go just as they state. I only wish that when returning, you did not have to pay return postage. I guess it is only fair, but I do not like it ! They do credit your account and credit card with any returns you have also. But it's hard to find basic jeans with an at-the-waist fit. Tried a pair of the Amanda jeans, and they looked so nice and fit so well that I now have 10 pairs! Also, finding my size, 6 long, was almost impossible, but not any more. I love them, and look like an adult again. April 4, 2013

I now buy them on line as I know the size that fits me and I do not have to worry about them not fitting. I have about 6 pairs of these pants and want more!
